Skill Development

The “Skill Development  How to Improve Teaching Skills & Public Speaking Skills” session, conducted on 02nd November 2025, was designed to equip participants with the essential skills required to communicate effectively, teach confidently, and present ideas with clarity. Organized by the undergraduates of ICST University, the session focused on helping individuals overcome stage fear improve self expression and develop confidence in delivering structured and impactful presentations. 

Participants were guided through both theoretical concepts and hands-on practice. Activities such as role plays, group discussions, live demonstrations, and peer feedback allowed them to refine key techniques including voice modulation, body language, logical organization of ideas, and audience engagement. Facilitators also emphasized the importance of connecting with learners, adapting communication styles, and using creative teaching methods. 

The session created a supportive and motivating environment where participants felt comfortable experimenting with new skills. Through guided practice and constructive feedback, attendees developed greater emotional resilience, self-awareness and leadership qualities  essential attributes for educators and professionals. 

Overall, the session had a remarkable impact. Participants reported increased confidence when speaking in front of groups, improved clarity in delivering lessons or presentations, and the ability to manage stage presence effectively. The collaborative learning approach also helped participants adopt a growth mindset and continue strengthening their communication and teaching abilities beyond the session.
