Web Development

Introducing students to the world of coding and web design through simple, practical and creative learning.

The Web Development session, held on 10/11/2025, introduced students to the basics of building websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. The purpose of the program was to help beginners understand how websites work, how online platforms are structured, and how to design user-friendly interfaces.

At the beginning of the session, facilitators explained the main building blocks of web development and demonstrated simple coding examples. Students were guided through creating layouts, formatting content, and linking pages to make a basic website. This helped them learn step-by-step in a clear and beginner-friendly environment.

As the session continued, students learned to solve common challenges such as aligning elements, choosing colors, writing clean code, and improving layout designs. They also explored modern concepts like responsive design, database connectivity, and basic hosting techniques. Practical exercises and coding demonstrations made the session more engaging and interactive.

Students actively edited real code samples and watched their webpage designs update instantly on screen. This hands-on approach increased their excitement, creativity, and confidence in understanding how coding transforms ideas into real websites. The collaborative environment encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.

Overall, the session empowered students with essential web creation skills and prepared them to explore future opportunities in programming, digital design, and the wider tech industry. It aligned with the goal of developing innovative thinkers and competent web developers for the digital economy.
