Zero Plastic Awareness Programme
Held on 07 November 2025 as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, this awareness programme educated participants on reducing polythene and plastic usage in daily life. Organized by the Baddegama East Economic Development Officer, with resource contribution from R.Y.K. Gurusinghe Arachchi (Science & Technology Officer – Baddegama), the session highlighted practical steps for adopting sustainable habits and encouraged the community to move towards a Zero Plastic lifestyle.
