The Anita James Social Impact Awards 2026 Nominations

Nominations are open for the Anita James Social Impact Awards 2026. 

Evaluation & Selection Process

All applications and nominations will undergo an initial review to ensure they meet the award criteria. Finalists will then be evaluated through a combination of judging panel assessments and public votes to determine the winners in each category. Finalists will be invited to attend the award ceremony where the winner will be announced.

Nomination Process (For Those Nominating a Candidate or Business)  

Nominating someone for the Anita James Social Impact Awards is free of charge.

Before submitting a nomination, please ensure the nominee is aware and that you have all the necessary details to complete the form accurately.

Why Them? – Write a compelling (300-500 word) nomination explaining why this individual or organization deserves recognition. Highlight their achievements, impact, and contributions to their field or community. Use concrete examples that align with the award criteria.

Supporting Evidence – Provide links to any videos, websites, articles, blogs, research, or other materials that showcase the nominee’s work. If they are selected as a finalist, these resources may be used for promotional purposes.

Visual Storytelling – Submit at least 3-5 photos and/or videos that best capture the nominee’s work in action. Images should reflect their impact, whether engaging with communities, implementing projects, or leading initiatives. These visuals may be used during the awards ceremony and in promotional materials.

Application Process (For Individuals & Organizations Applying for an Award)

Applying is free of charge.

To be considered for an award, you must provide compelling evidence of your impact and contributions to your chosen category. Ensure your application is as detailed and comprehensive as possible.

Why You? – Provide a well-structured response (300-500 words) explaining why you are an outstanding candidate for this award. Describe your accomplishments, the impact of your work, and how you have contributed to positive social change. Use specific examples that align with the award criteria.

Supporting Evidence – To strengthen your application, include links to relevant materials such as videos, websites, articles, research, or other documentation showcasing your work. If selected as a finalist, this content may be used for promotional purposes.

Visual Storytelling – Share at least 3-5 high-quality photos and/or videos that best illustrate your achievements and impact. Images that capture you in action—engaging with your community, implementing projects, or making a difference—are highly encouraged. These visuals may be featured during the awards ceremony and in promotional materials.

The Awards will celebrate;

• Deserving entrepreneurs, youth, community organizations, and socially conscious businesses who make an outstanding social impact in the community between December 2024 and December 2025
• Partners and sponsors who have consistently or most impactfully supported SLUDTERA CSR initiatives between December 2024 and December 2025.
   

The award ceremony will take place on November 17th, 2026 At this ceremony, individuals, organizations and groups who made it to the finals will be recognized and Nationally celebrated under fifteen categories.
