Startup Academy: Business Basics
Startup Academy is a series of sessions helping entrepreneurs learn the skill set to evaluate business ideas, identify ideal customers, and develop a pitch. Each session focuses on a different topic. Led by John Zubak, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Kamloops Innovation & TRU Generator, participants will connect with other entrepreneurs on the same path, meet with experienced mentors and industry experts, and learn how to move their business ideas forward.
Learn about the basics to starting a business.
We’ll cover topics like getting a business license, the different types of business structures, setting up a business bank account vs using your personal, and additional resources.
