Suhuruliya

In an effort to support the social and economic empowerment of rural women in Sri Lanka through ICT -enabled entrepreneurship, ICTA has initiated “Suhuruliya” program. 2,000 female entrepreneurs will be capacitated on Digital Marketing through 20 sessions planned in 20 districts in 2022 META has been partnered with the program  for providing funding assistance. At the end of each program, ICTA shortlists potential women entrepreneurs to direct them for the Technology Diffusion program to introduce technologies to their core business. It is expected to shortlist 100 women -led enterprises for Technology Diffusion by the end of 2024.

 

This program is designed to equip female entrepreneurs  with knowledge, skills and competencies that have been identified as necessary to use Digital Marketing tools and platforms effectively to grow their business . This program provides theoretical and hands-on  training enabling  participants to quickly gain the knowledge for using digital marketing effectively.

This program is focused on how "Digital Marketing" could be used effectively for business growth.
