Swedbank Seedtalks: The Rise of Green

We're gathering business leaders to hear their case studies on what has led them to go green and their challenges during the transformation. The conversation deep dives into a model for how big and small companies can achieve exponential sustainability and look into the current market situation regarding adopting a more sustainable business process. Lubomila is the founder and CEO of Plan A. Plan A is the first donation and knowledge platform to fight against climate change. Its mission is to empower companies to seamlessly address climate change by building tools to reduce their footprint. 

  • Maris Avotins, CEO at Fiqsy.

Maris is the CEO of the carsharing company Fiqsy that offers convenient, green, and innovative mobility solutions - electric scooters, electric cars, and trucks. With their service, Fiqsy aims to reduce air and noise pollution and make the city more dynamic. This year, Fiqsy has purchased an additional 100 electric cars, saving 390 tons of emissions per year. 

  • Beate Krauze-Cebotare, CEO at Omniva Latvia.

Beate is the CEO of a postal services company Omniva Latvia. With 208 parcel machines in 97 residential areas, it is the largest delivery service in Latvia. Annually, Omniva's delivered shipments grow by an average of 40%. This summer, Omniva Latvia has supplemented its car fleet with electric vehicles.

  • Zanda Sadre, Corporate Brand and Communications Director at Rimi Baltic Group.

Zanda joined Rimi in January 2020. Rimi Baltic is one of the fastest growing retailers in the Baltic states. The company employs over 12 300 people in all three Baltic countries. In Rimi Baltic Zanda is working with strategic internal communications and reputation building.

  • Adriana Kaulina, Sustainability Officer at Swedbank Latvia.

Adriana is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of Swedbank's sustainability strategy. The ambition is to be one of the most sustainable financial sector companies in the world.
