About the Presenters
Jeff Kropman, President, Kro Performance Management
Jeff specializes in advising family businesses overcome challenges affecting profitability and succession. He started KRO Performance Management to share the many lessons he learned from 26 years of working in his family business. The business began as a small, local, sales and service business, and grew into an international distributor and manufacturer of high-speed digital printing machines. Jeff remains an active shareholder in the business.
Jeff collaborates closely with leadership, accountants, financial planners, and lawyers to advise family owners on documenting their “success formula” and implementing strategic, talent-management solutions that work to preserve their wealth.
Jeff advocates a strength-based approach to managing talent. This philosophy has influenced him to create ‘Competitive Wellness™: the science and art of teamwork’. It is a performance system that harmonizes the need of individuals with that of the business. The goal is finding wellness in competition, so that victory becomes meaningful and is equally celebrated by individuals and the business. The goal of Competitive Wellness™ is achieving peak performance and sustaining it year-over-year without compromising the wellness of individuals or the business. It is about building great businesses.
