TYEE 3rd Year Anniversary: Promoting and Celebrating Youth Entrepreneurship in Tonga!
Tonga Youth Employment & Entrepreneurship Inc. (TYEE) will be marking its 3rd Year Anniversary on the10th November 2017 in Nuku'alofa, Tonga with a theme: Promoting and Celebrating Youth Entrepreneurship in Tonga. Created for the youth by the youth and driven by the youth.
TYEE is a registered not for profit youth employment and entrepreneurship support service organisation, established in Tonga since 2014.
The need to establish the organisation arose from the high rate of youth unemployment in Tonga and the increasing number of school-leavers each year who were unable to secure a job. We work with the aim to help young school-leavers age 18 to 29.
Our mission is to bridge the gap by building the capacity of the youth to embark on their journey, to make a life they aspire to live through appropriate and relevant connections to work-readiness and life-skills training opportunities, employment opportunities, creating employment opportunities through entrepreneurship, and mentorship support.
This event will also commemorate the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2017 in leading up to it on November 13th - 19th.
For more details about this exciting event, please visit TYEE website on the Events and Initiatives page: https://www.tyeetonga.org/events-and-initiatives/youth-questions-the-201.... Let's celebrate that.
