UNCONFERENCE by Impactr Collabration with Women Will

This is a participant-driven technically opposite version of a "conference" - a concept popularized by Google, and adopted by businesses globally. This session is facilitated by Impactr in Sri Lanka.

WHO IS IT FOR:

Entrepreneurs Startup founders and prospective founders Working professionals Policy Makers Final year university students.

HOW IT IS DONE:

This is a team-driven activity with 4-5 teams with about 8 in a team and a total of about 40 participants. Each team is guided by our team. This is basically the reverse of a "Conference" and involves an unstructured format where participants get to select the topic they want and identify problems and solutions to it. This is a method for reframing a problem or a challenge an entrepreneur/team might face in their business, into a workable solution.

There will be facilitators guiding each team through this process which takes 45 mins to 1 hour. After this, the teams will take turns rotating their members and understanding the framing outcomes of the other teams and share their ideas.

WHAT IS THE OUTCOME:

To understand the challenges of the broader topic, to brainstorm and pitch practical solutions.
