Thabang Letsile

My name is Thabang Letsile. I am a Rigger, a Pastor, and a Drug and Alcohol Counselor based right here in Botswana.

I never followed a straight path, and I'm proud of that. I learned early that real wisdom doesn't always come from classrooms—it comes from showing up, doing the work, and staying steady when things get hard.

As a rigger, I lead teams in high-pressure environments. Safety and precision are everything. One mistake can cost lives, so I learned to communicate clearly, earn trust, and take full responsibility for the people working alongside me.

As a pastor with United Pentecostal International Church, I walk with people through their deepest struggles—loss, doubt, and searching. I've learned that leadership is really just serving, and that people need someone who will listen more than someone who has all the answers.

And as a counselor with Navigate Ministry and Life in Focus Ministry, I sit with men and women fighting addiction. I help them find structure again. I help them believe they can change. Some days are hard. Some days we celebrate small wins. But every day, I'm reminded that recovery is possible when someone has practical support and people who refuse to give up on them.

What ties my work together is simple: I believe in building things that last—whether that's a safe worksite, a strong congregation, or a life being rebuilt. I'm not interested in titles or recognition. I care about impact that you can see and feel.

I am Batswana. This country raised me, and I want to spend my energy helping build stronger communities here—through entrepreneurship, through mental health advocacy, through whatever work needs doing. I show up. I listen. I do the work.
