Très heureux d’avoir représenté Global Entrepreneurship Network RDC (GEN RDC) au GEC+Africa 2026, au Cap, en Afrique du Sud, autour du thème « Connecting Africa ».

Lors de la réunion des Leaders de GEN Global, j’ai eu l’opportunité de porter la voix de la République démocratique du Congo et de partager notre vision pour le développement de l’écosystème entrepreneurial congolais.

A practical roadmap for governments, regulators and innovators shaping the next era of resilient, inclusive global commerce, Advancing Digital Trade: Insights from the UAE TradeTech Sandbox distils the key learnings and policy recommendations arising from this landmark initiative.

The startup ecosystem in Nigeria has experienced a exponential growth in recent years. Leaving  the generic concept of business and entrepreneurship to the very womb of incubation where it  belongs. Added to this is a specified Act (The Nigeria Startup Act 2022) to aid properly this  incubation.

Unlocking Egypt’s Entrepreneurial Future With a youthful population of over 107 million, Egypt holds immense entrepreneurial potential. Despite economic progress, high unemployment continues to push many towards entrepreneurship—highlighting the urgent need for stronger support systems. Based on research and engagement with over 100 entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers, The Egyptian Entrepreneurship Sector Diagnostics Report provides the most comprehensive analysis of Egypt’s startup ecosystem to date.

This report ranks more than 200 regions across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the United States on 13 commonly available indicators of innovation competitiveness, and offers policymakers a guide to bolstering regional and national innovation capacity.

The study, entitled “Breaking down barriers for women digital entrepreneurs: Insights from Africa”, offers fresh insights into addressing structural challenges and gender-based biases that female e-business  founders commonly face across developing regions.

It draws on the experiences of close to 100 members of the “eTrade for Women” global community, with a dedicated chapter on sub-Saharan Africa.

Women entrepreneurs in remote areas are powerful drivers of inclusive growth, resilience and innovation, yet often face systemic barriers that limit their potential. In Indonesia and the Philippines, where women lead over half of all micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), their contributions are vital, particularly in underserved regions with scarce formal jobs. This report examines women-led businesses in remote and rural areas, highlighting the transformative role of digitalisation in expanding access to markets, finance and training.

The article outlines ten key policy levers to activate : from building shared wet labs and launching national accelerators, to reforming university tech transfer and streamlining clinical trials. KPIs are proposed for each lever, with “traffic-light” progress indicators tracking current performance.
