Yemen Entrepreneurship Cup - Agripreneurs in the Agriculture Sector in Yemen

The competition was launched to foster entrepreneurship in the agriculture sector in Yemen. Applicants were hunted during the agriculture festival in October 2020 as per the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation in cooperation with Sanaa University. Applicants were selected based on four main criteria including innovation, problem-solving, team composition, and expected return to the sector and the society at large.

Winners included new organic pesticides, water consumption, and livestock care from three different governorates in Yemen. Winners qualified for financial and non-financial support.
