'Youth for Sustainable Rural Development' is an international acceleration program implemented by the Entrepreneurs Association Georgia in partnership with ThinkCamp Germany.

The project was funded under the grant program “MEET UP! Youth for Partnership” by the Remembrance, Responsibility, and Future (EVZ) Foundation and the Federal Foreign Office.

#MEETUPforPartnership #YOUTHforPartnership

In the framework of the project 15 Georgian and 7 German participants aged between 18 years and 35 years were participating, who were passionate about creating sustainable social entrepreneurial projects in rural areas.

Project activities included:

- Hybrid and online workshops were held in Georgia and Germany, where participants from rural areas were able to learn more sustainability, eco, and rural challenges and create innovative ideas in order to solve them and improve rural community lives.

- During the online hybrid sessions,12 workshops were held in total from Georgia and Germany, where experienced social entrepreneurs, sustainability and rural development experts, and farmers shared their experiences and best practices to participants; Online workshops made an important contribution in order to engage and connect both Georgian and German participants.

- As a result,  11 group and individual social entrepreneurial projects were created by  15 Georgian and 7 German participants, for sustainable rural development, which were presented during the final presentation on December 14 with different forms, among them presentations, storytelling, and visual performance.

We are looking forward to successful launching and implementation of the planned projects, as well as future cooperation between Georgian and German participants.
