THE 8th ANNUAL FATE INSTITUTE POLICY DIALOGUE SERIES ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Annual Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship Program is hosted by the FATE Institute, which is the research, policy, and advocacy arm of the FATE Foundation, leading innovative thinking and creating platforms to enable idea exchange and problem-solving strategies to foster sustainable entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The program brings together high-level policy stakeholders within the Nigerian entrepreneurship ecosystem for conversations based on data insights from the FATE Institute Research unit. Last year, following the publication of the Inaugural Annual State of Entrepreneurship Report, our Annual Policy Dialogue focuses on insights from the report through a deep-dive approach to arrive at key agreements and recommendations that spur innovative approaches to entrepreneurship policy design, review, and implementation.

This year, the highlight of the event will be the launch and presentation of findings from the 2022 State of Entrepreneurship in Nigeria report which assesses entrepreneurial performance in Nigeria using defined indicators such as Business Performance, Skills Acquisition, Innovation and Technology Adoption, Perception of Opportunities, and Enabling Environment. The report will also look at bridging the access to finance gap for Nigerian entrepreneurs.
