9th Annual FATE Institute Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship

The Annual Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship Program is hosted by the FATE Institute of FATE Foundation which is the research, policy, and advocacy arm of the Foundation leading innovative thinking and creating platforms to enable idea exchange and problem-solving strategies to foster sustainable entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The program brings together key policy stakeholders within Nigeria’s entrepreneurship ecosystem for conversations based on data insights from the FATE Institute Research unit. Our Annual Policy Dialogue conversation focuses on findings from our reports using an in-depth explorative approach, culminating in key agreements and recommendations that drive innovative approaches to entrepreneurship policy design, review, and implementation.

This year, the Policy Dialogue program will feature a series of engaging conversations during our morning, afternoon, and evening sessions. We would also be launching not one but three research reports including the Annual State of Entrepreneurship in Nigeria report. Conversations will revolve around key entrepreneurship themes such as enabling women-led businesses to thrive in Africa, Nigeria’s Fiscal and Tax policy environment and enabling youth entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The 9th Annual FATE Institute Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship is scheduled to hold during the Global Entrepreneurship Week on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 8.00 am WAT at the Ecobank Pan-African Center, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos. The theme of this hybrid event is “The State of Entrepreneurship in Nigeria 2023: Policy Priorities for NMSMEs”.
