Notes + Additional Context
  • InnovEgypt is a training program in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship directed to university students in ICT specializations who are aspiring to be future innovators and entrepreneurs, either through establishing their own innovative start-ups or through manifesting skills that are highly required by local and multinational companies. While entrepreneurial education is paramount for engineering graduates to increase the number of graduate start-up businesses, yet Egyptian public university curricula does not include it. Although advocating to include an entrepreneurship and innovation management courses is in progress, yet it is taking a long time due to the previous unstable political situation after the revolution. InnovEgypt was designed and created specifically for the purpose of filling this void.
