MEDIA RELEASE 15th November 2012 NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell supports Australian Entrepreneurs and Start-ups Premier of NSW Barry O’Farrell sent through a statement supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week Australia and stating that “entrepreneurs and start-ups are critical drivers of jobs, investment and productivity and that the NSW government encourages business growth.” The Premier also went on to state that the NSW Government is committed to ensuring that NSW is “Australia’s leading investment and business destination.” The world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Australia 2012 led by Australian host FRANK Team is set to be the largest celebration of entrepreneurship that Australia has seen at any one time. Over 8,000 people, 100 events (over 50 being held in November) and 30 partners will be supporting GEW Australia. Major partners include the Australian Taxation Office, RMIT and Commonwealth Bank of Australia - Women in Focus, plus other reputable organisations.
