GEN Azerbaijan Leads "Marketing in Culture" Certification Program for Entrepreneurs

With support from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, GEN Azerbaijan implemented a “Marketing in Culture” certification program for 30 participants specialists working in public and private cultural institutions, entrepreneurs in the creative industries and graduate students.

With support from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, GEN Azerbaijan implemented a “Marketing in Culture” certification program for 30 participants specialists working in public and private cultural institutions, entrepreneurs in the creative industries and graduate students.

The participants engaged in 10 sessions led by experts in the field and learned new marketing strategies, including AI within the cultural sector, enhancing their professional skills. Session topics included cultural marketing, brand development, product management, social media marketing, art and strategy, artificial intelligence tools, and business in traditional crafts.

Following each session, participants worked in groups to develop marketing plans for six selected cultural institutions. Each group presented their plan to the participants, highlighting the knowledge and skills they acquired during the program.

GEN Azerbaijan’s goal in delivering program is to support the development of human resource potential and increase the competitiveness of cultural and creative industries. The program empowers specialists in the field with extensive knowledge in “Cultural Marketing” that they will apply in their institutions. By combining theoretical and practical approaches, the program strengthens participants’ understanding of the significance of marketing in the cultural sector, and increases their ability to utilize the most modern methods and tools.
