On January 24, 2024, the orientation program started with seven new cohorts at the prestigious Global Entrepreneurship Network Bangladesh campus in GEN Campus, Sobhanbag, Dhaka. With a total of 175 entrepreneurs now on board, the excitement is profound! 
The event was graced by the honorable chief guest Mr. G S M Jafarullah, NDC, Managing Director (Grade-1), Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority. The program chair was held by Mr. K M Hasan Ripon, Managing Director of Global Entrepreneurship Network Bangladesh. Also, the special guests are Dr. NuruzZaman, Advisor, Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited, and Hosna Ferdous Sumi, Senior Private Sector Specialist, World Bank. Their inspiring speeches echoed the vision of building a Smart Bangladesh, where digital entrepreneurship knows no bounds! 
But that's not all! 
The Smart Bangladesh Accelerator Program is just getting started. With plans to train over 1,000 digital startup founders intensively in business planning and growth support, the future is looking brighter than ever!
