19th November 2022 (6th Day of GEW2022), GEN Bangladesh together with the support of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, সাহসিকা, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI), Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Daffodil International University and চাকরি খুঁজব না চাকরি দেব celebrates Women Entrepreneurs Day as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022. The event theme was Speed Networking.
Total 350+ women entrepreneurs enjoyed the speed network event where they talked about Entrepreneurs friendly Policy, Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Funding support and effective learning and development strategy.
On behalf of the organizers, Mr. Munir Hasan, Head of Youth Program of Daily Prothom Alo (Top national dailies in Bangladesh) said in his remarks that half of our total population are women. Our entrepreneurial ecosystem should be women supported specially easy access of funding and mentoring support to scaling up their business. Because considering women in entrepreneurship will help us to ensure economic sustainability.
