DHAKA, November 5, 2025 – Bangladesh is set to join over 200 countries in celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, which will take place from November 17 to 23. This year's celebration, held under the global theme “Together We Build,” aims to unite innovators, job creators, and aspiring entrepreneurs across the nation.

Every November, GEW engages more than 10 million people through 40,000 events worldwide. The week-long initiative celebrates the power of entrepreneurship to drive economic growth, foster innovation, and improve human welfare.

The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh officially announced the launch of GEW 2025 at a press conference today at the 71 Auditorium, Daffodil Plaza, in Dhaka. The event was presided over by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of GEN Bangladesh and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University.

In his address, Dr. Sabur Khan stated, “Global Entrepreneurship Week is not just a celebration; it is a movement to unite dreamers, doers, and builders under one vision — Together We Build. Entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools to transform Bangladesh’s economy, empowering our youth, women, and innovators to create lasting change.”

This year’s celebration is marked by a significant achievement, as GEN Bangladesh recently received the “Best Country Award” at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) 2025 in Indianapolis, USA. This award recognizes Bangladesh's leadership and commitment to developing a dynamic and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

GEN Bangladesh invites organizations across the country—including schools, universities, NGOs, government agencies, youth groups, and business associations—to actively participate in GEW 2025. Organizations are encouraged to host their own:

  • Workshops

  • Seminars

  • Webinars

  • Competitions

  • Discussions and networking events

Through these collaborative efforts, GEW 2025 will connect Bangladesh's entrepreneurs to a global network, promoting innovation, job creation, and sustainable development. As Bangladesh stands with 200 nations this November, let us work together to empower entrepreneurs and shape a better future for all.
