Dhaka, Bangladesh — November 19, 2024: The second day of the highly anticipated “Expert Exchange: Guiding Employability” webinar series concluded successfully, drawing over 350 enthusiastic participants from the BBA and English departments. The event, part of the Employability 360 initiative, featured three distinguished speakers who captivated the audience with their expertise and actionable advice.

The evening commenced with a session by M. Shabbir Ali, Corporate Head of HR at Transcom Limited, who addressed the topic, HR’s Expectations: Bridging the Gap Between Students and Corporates. He provided valuable insights into what corporate recruiters look for in fresh graduates, emphasizing practical skills, a proactive mindset, and adaptability in the workplace.

Following this, Sk Monirul Alam, an English Lecturer at New City College, London, delivered an engaging session titled Mastering English for Career Advancement. He highlighted the significance of English proficiency in both local and global job markets and shared strategies to improve language skills effectively.

The final session of the evening was led by Farhana Akter, Founder of Farhana’s Brainstation, who discussed Building a Personal Brand through Digital Platforms. She inspired attendees to harness the power of digital media for personal and professional growth, offering tips on creating impactful online profiles and networks.
