DHAKA, Bangladesh, 18 November 2025 – In a compelling address at the inauguration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, Shaiful Hossain, CEO of Finpower Leadership International, a corporate trainer, and a finance and business strategist, emphasized that financial literacy is the most critical education for any aspiring entrepreneur.

Speaking to the young and aspiring innovators at the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit held at Daffodil International University, he began with an inspirational message. "For those of you in front of us, your lives are full of colorful dreams. But to turn those dreams into reality, you need the drive, the strength, and the education, and all those opportunities are right here in front of you. It is you who will take Bangladesh to new heights."

Drawing from his extensive experience in finance and business, he highlighted a significant gap in the current education system. "I believe that the first and most necessary education for every individual, no matter their situation, is financial education," he stated. "But unfortunately, in our schools, colleges, or universities, financial education, especially personal finance management, is not taught."

In light of this, he made a direct and crucial appeal to the event's chief guest, the Honorable Advisor to the Government of Bangladesh. "I have a request: that the education of personal finance management be introduced from the primary level and continue all the way through to the university level."

He explained the profound impact such a policy would have on the nation's economy. "If this can be implemented," he argued, "it will not only increase our country's domestic savings but also boost investment and employment, which will play a vital role in our economic development."

His message to the youth was clear: acquiring financial knowledge is an indispensable part of the entrepreneurial journey, and this foundation should be laid from the earliest stages of education to ensure their dreams are not just imaginative but also achievable.
