GEN Bangladesh and DCCI Discuss Joint Efforts to Strengthen Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Dhaka, Bangladesh — Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh is excited to share the outcomes of a fruitful meeting held recently between Mr. K M Hasan Ripon, representing GEN Bangladesh, and Mr. Ashraf Ahmed, President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

The meeting focused on exploring joint initiatives to bolster the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bangladesh. Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration to foster innovation, empower aspiring entrepreneurs, and create a more supportive environment for sustainable economic growth.

Discussions also highlighted the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2024, scheduled for November 18 to 24, 2024, celebrated in over 200 countries. This global event will focus on celebrating entrepreneurs and addressing challenges faced by individuals striving to build their businesses.

This successful meeting marks a significant step toward future cooperation between GEN Bangladesh and DCCI, paving the way for innovative programs and initiatives aimed at inspiring and enabling the next generation of entrepreneurs.

About DCCI : Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) the voice of SMEs serves as the first point of business contact for penetration into new market and a vibrant platform putting forward facts-based opinions, suggestions and recommendations for a brighter tomorrow in the sphere of trade, commerce and the overall economy. The President is the Chief Executive of the Chamber. The Board of Directors is assisted by a number of Standing Committees on various important business-related subjects and by a full fledged Secretariat.
