19 November 2024 – Dhaka: A dedicated team from Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh met with the authorities of Royal University to discuss potential collaborations aimed at strengthening Bangladesh's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to align mutual goals and explore joint initiatives designed to support innovation and aspiring entrepreneurs across the country.

During the discussion, both GEN Bangladesh and Royal University emphasized the critical role of collaboration in fostering sustainable growth, nurturing young entrepreneurial talent, and building a robust ecosystem. They explored avenues for integrating GEN's global resources with Royal University's academic and extracurricular frameworks to benefit students and entrepreneurs alike.

A highlight of the meeting was the discussion around Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024 (GEW 2024), celebrated worldwide from 18 to 24 November 2024. This weeklong event, spanning over 200 countries, focuses on showcasing entrepreneurial success stories and addressing challenges faced by those aspiring to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. Royal University and GEN Bangladesh exchanged ideas on how students could participate and benefit from this global celebration.

The meeting also outlined a shared vision: connecting Royal University with GEN Global, thereby creating a supportive environment enriched with resources, mentorship opportunities, and access to international networks. While logistical challenges prevented immediate program implementation due to the university's mid-term exam schedule, both parties are optimistic about future cooperation to inspire and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs in Bangladesh and beyond.

This collaborative dialogue reflects GEN Bangladesh’s unwavering commitment to building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that fosters resilience, innovation, and success. With Royal University’s involvement, the partnership holds great promise for advancing entrepreneurship education and opportunities across the nation.
