On November 22, 2024, a delegation from GEN Bangladesh met with the administration of Uttara University
to explore opportunities for collaboration aimed at advancing Bangladesh’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The meeting focused on creating synergies between both organizations to foster innovation, empower aspiring entrepreneurs, and build a sustainable environment for entrepreneurship to thrive.
A significant part of the discussion revolved around the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, which will take place from November 18 to 24 across 200+ countries. This global event will celebrate entrepreneurial achievements and highlight efforts to assist individuals facing challenges in pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams.
The collaboration between GEN Bangladesh and Uttara University envisions connecting the university’s students and community with the global GEN network. Together, they aim to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with essential tools, mentorship, and opportunities to help them succeed. This partnership is a significant move towards nurturing innovation and fostering a resilient entrepreneurial spirit, not only in Bangladesh but also globally.
