Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Board Chair of GEN Bangladesh and BoT of Daffodil International University, urged parents to actively support their children in becoming entrepreneurs. He emphasized that Bangladesh urgently needs more job creators to support job seekers and drive economic growth.
The powerful message was delivered on the 5th day of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, during a historic event hosted by GEN Bangladesh. The event brought together 5,000 participants, including 3,500 parents, who pledged in front of their children to support them in their entrepreneurial journeys.
The gathering serves as a milestone in promoting a culture of entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. Dr. Khan highlighted that only entrepreneurs can play the pivotal role of reducing unemployment by creating new job opportunities. This remarkable event underscores the importance of parental encouragement in shaping the next generation of job creators and innovators.
