Dhaka, Bangladesh – 22nd November 2024 – A delegated team from Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh recently met with the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) to explore potential joint initiatives aimed at strengthening Bangladesh's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The meeting was centered around the shared goal of fostering innovation, supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, and creating a more robust ecosystem that can drive sustainable economic growth in the country. A key topic of discussion was the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, which will take place from 18th to 24th November 2024, spanning over 200 countries. This global event celebrates entrepreneurs, both aspiring and established, with a special focus on those who face barriers in their entrepreneurial journeys. Both parties expressed their commitment to making this week an impactful celebration in Bangladesh, highlighting the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial environment.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in GEN Bangladesh’s efforts to build a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports the growth of innovative and resilient businesses.
