- "Nohor IT," led by Farid Khan: Empowering people with disabilities through digital skills and employment opportunities via a fellowship program. With a focus on remote training, Nohor IT aims to reduce the high unemployment rate among disabled individuals by offering in-demand skills and operates on a B2B model, delivering digital services through a subscription model.
- "Bortoni," led by Tasnimul Hasan Taohid and his team: A smart sanitary napkin vending machine solution designed to address menstrual hygiene challenges in Bangladesh, particularly in schools. Bortoni aims to fill the gap by offering affordable and accessible sanitary napkins through vending machines, operating on a B2B model with a subscription-based delivery service.
- "Robosolvez," led by Ishmam Tahsan Masafi: Specializes in innovative robotic solutions to address industrial and societal challenges, focusing on agricultural, firefighting, and delivery robots tailored to meet specific industry needs.
Early Stage: Entrepreneurs in this stage are developing scalable solutions with significant market potential:
- "AyyKori," led by Aminul Islam: A cashback and affiliate marketplace designed to boost brand sales by offering consumers cashback rewards and enabling affiliate marketing. The platform addresses issues such as low sales, high marketplace dependency, and low traffic in web and physical outlets.
- "EcoTech Innovation," led by Abdullah Al Araf: Developing Smart Vertical Axis Wind Turbines specifically for urban and coastal areas in Bangladesh. EcoTech aims to provide a sustainable solution to the energy crisis by harnessing wind power.
Growth Stage: These startups have demonstrated significant progress and are ready for rapid expansion:
- "Pupil School Bus Ltd.," led by Md Abdur Rashid Sohag: Focused on providing safe, reliable, and affordable transportation services for students, including school bus and carpooling options. The service, enhanced by IoT technology, offers real-time tracking, air-conditioned vehicles, and expert female guides and drivers, ensuring peace of mind for parents.
The finalists were selected through a rigorous evaluation process, considering their innovation, scalability, and potential impact. They will now advance to the EWC 250 round in the EWC Qualifiers to the EWC Group Stage in Phase 3, where they will represent Bangladesh on the global stage.
