DHAKA, Bangladesh – November 19, 2025 – The Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University (DIU) hosted a highly successful and energetic "Meet the Entrepreneurs" special session yesterday, November 18, as a key event for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025. The session, held at the ICH, 3rd Floor, Knowledge Tower, brought together students and aspiring innovators for an inspiring and interactive experience.
The event featured two prominent young entrepreneurs as guest speakers:
Nafees Salim, Founder of Impact Academy and Co-founder of 2 Cents Podcast.
Antik Mahmud, Founder and CEO of Antik Animated Studio.
The session, which ran from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, was designed to provide students with direct access to the stories, struggles, and successes of established entrepreneurs. Nafees Salim and Antik Mahmud shared their personal journeys, offering practical advice and motivational insights that resonated deeply with the audience.
The atmosphere was described as incredibly engaging and fun. Popular influencer and educator Sadman Sadik, who attended the event, shared his experience on social media, stating, "Nafees Bhai & Antik electrified the house today! Never had this much fun in an event. It was like presenting a group project with your buddies." His post, which included a cheerful selfie with a large group of attendees, captured the collaborative and high-energy spirit of the session.
The "Meet the Entrepreneurs" event was organized by the Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and was supported by several of the university's leading student organizations, including the Social Business Students' Forum (SBSF), Daffodil Entrepreneurs' Club, DIU Business & Education Club, and DIU Finance Club.

Having dynamic leaders like Nafees Salim and Antik Mahmud share their experiences in such an open and engaging way does exactly that.
