In a proactive move to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors along with academia, a pivotal brainstorming session titled "Public Private Academia Bridging for Skill Development" was jointly organized by FBCCI-IRC (Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries-Innovation and Research Center) and the Prime Minister's Office. This noteworthy event took place on November 18, 2023, at the conference room of FBCCI-IRC as part of the celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The session was marked by the presence of distinguished individuals dedicated to the advancement of skill development and entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. Mr. Md. Akhtar Hossain, Principal Coordinator for SDG affairs at the Prime Minister's Office, graciously chaired the program. Joining him as the Co-Chair was Mr. Md. Jashim Uddin, Chairman of FBCCI-Innovation and Research Center.

The brainstorming session was characterized by constructive discussions, where key stakeholders from the public sector, private sector, and academia converged to explore strategies and collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing skill development in the country. Participants engaged in insightful dialogues about how to align skill development initiatives with the current needs of the workforce and the evolving demands of the job market.

The event was held under the banner of Global Entrepreneurship Week, a global celebration that brings together millions of individuals in over 200 countries to promote and celebrate entrepreneurship. This year's Global Entrepreneurship Week has seen active participation and support from a wide range of organizations, including universities, colleges, schools, chambers, and associations, hosting numerous events, workshops, mentoring sessions, and pitching competitions.

This brainstorming session marks a significant step in the pursuit of fostering an environment in which entrepreneurial skills and opportunities flourish, ultimately contributing to the economic growth and prosperity of Bangladesh.
