The Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 will officially inaugurate the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025 celebrations in Bangladesh. The event will be inaugurated by Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh.
Organized by GEN Bangladesh, in collaboration with Daffodil International University, the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit aims to empower young innovators and encourage new ideas, creativity, and leadership under the global theme “Together We Build.” GEW is celebrated across 200 countries and represents the world’s largest movement dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation.

Remarks from the Honorable Minister
Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, shared his message ahead of the event. He stated:
“Entrepreneurship education should reach our children and youth as early as possible. When students learn to think creatively and solve problems independently, they become stronger contributors to our nation and society. I am pleased to join GEW 2025 and encourage all educational institutions and families to support young innovators across Bangladesh.”

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of GEN Bangladesh, expressed his appreciation for the national-level involvement. He said:

Dr. K M Hasan Ripon, Managing Director of GEN Bangladesh, highlighted the significance of youth engagement. He stated:
“Our objective is to create a supportive ecosystem where every young person feels confident to learn, innovate, and lead. Through the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit and GEW activities, we are committed to strengthening skills, employability, and startup readiness across Bangladesh.”
A National Celebration of Youth and Innovation
The Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 will bring together students, educators, founders, professionals, and development partners to celebrate creativity and entrepreneurship. The event marks the beginning of a week-long series of programs that will take place nationwide from 17 to 23 November 2025.
Through joint efforts by institutions, industry, and government, GEW 2025 aims to elevate Bangladesh’s position in the global entrepreneurial landscape.
