Babasú Ventures Makes Its First Investment in a Paraguayan Startup: REVA

Babasú Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on emerging markets in Latin America, hosted an exclusive event at Cervepar, supported by Bits&Cream. The event was an opportunity to connect key players from Paraguay's entrepreneurial ecosystem and to celebrate the fund’s first investment in the country as lead investors in the funding round for the startup Reva, an integrated sports facility management platform.

The program began with guest reception at 7:00 PM, followed by welcome remarks from Corina Marion, Managing Partner at Babasú Ventures, and Leticia García, Social Responsibility and Corporate Affairs Manager at Cervepar.  
Next, the official announcement of the investment in Reva was made, along with a presentation from its team led by Guillermo Arce.

In addition to the announcement, the event featured a panel of startups from Babasú Ventures’ portfolio, moderated by Corina Marion. The participating startups included:
- tuGerente, represented by Omaira Saucedo,
- Mobi, represented by Nicole Bersaty,
- Reva, led by Guillermo Arce,
- and Uils, from Argentina, represented by Tomás Costanzo.

One of the evening’s highlights was the announcement of a strategic alliance between Mobi and Grupo MAO, presented by Ariel Revollo and Gonzalo Ortega.

The night concluded with the unveiling of Babasú Ventures' new website and a networking session accompanied by drinks and food, offering attendees the chance to share and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

The event marked an important milestone for Babasú Ventures in Paraguay, reaffirming their commitment to the local and regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
