Empowering Futures: Driving Entrepreneurship in Botswana
Day 5 - Ministry of Entrepreneurship
Day 5 of GEW2024 is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in Botswana, featuring a series of engaging activities aimed at inspiring innovation and collaboration. The schedule includes:
- Registration & Networking: Start the day by connecting with fellow attendees, industry leaders, and government officials in a vibrant networking environment.
- Minister Breakfast Session & Presentation of Outcomes: Enjoy a breakfast session led by the Minister of Entrepreneurship, who will present key insights and outcomes from GEW2024, setting the stage for discussions on future initiatives.
- Policy Round Table: Engage in a focused Policy Round Table on "Driving Entrepreneurship Policy in Botswana," where participants will discuss strategies to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem and share best practices.
- Press Release: Attend the announcement of a Press Release from the US Embassy, highlighting its ongoing support for entrepreneurship in Botswana and its commitment to fostering innovation.
- Pitch Competition & Hackathon: Experience the excitement of the Pitch Competition & Hackathon at the Orange Digital Center, where finalists will present their innovative solutions to a panel of judges. This session will showcase emerging talent and groundbreaking ideas in entrepreneurship.
- Judges' Deliberation & Announcement of Winner: The day will conclude with the judges' deliberation, followed by the announcement of the winner of the Pitch Competition and Hackathon, celebrating entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.
