O Brasil conta com cerca de 23 milhões de pequenos negócios e Minas Gerais possui mais de 2,4 milhões, entre microempreendedores individuais, microempresas e empresas de pequeno porte, segundo dados da Receita Federal. Para estimular e fortalecer o empreendedor, apoiamos o maior movimento mundial, a Semana Global do Empreendedorismo (SGE), no qual o Sebrae é embaixador no Brasil.
A edição de 2025 acontece de 17 a 23 de novembro, com o tema “Juntos Construímos”, que destaca o poder da comunidade e da colaboração na construção de novos negócios e ideias transformadoras. O Sebrae Minas promoverá centenas de atividades em todas as regiões do estado, como capacitações, palestras, oficinas, mentorias e conexão entre empreendedores.

Protagonismo reconhecido no mundo
Na edição de 2024, o Sebrae se destacou internacionalmente ao ser reconhecido pela GEN Global (Global Entrepreneurship Network), organizadora do movimento, como a instituição com maior número de atividades no mundo durante a SGE. Foram 7.232 atividades cadastradas em todo o país, sendo 5.291 iniciativas promovidas pelo Sebrae Minas. O Brasil foi responsável por 34% das atividades global e a instituição mineira representou 25% dessas ações no mundo e 74% no país.
A instituição recebeu o Prêmio Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) 2025, durante o Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC), realizado em Indianápolis, nos Estados Unidos, no em junho deste ano. O Sebrae foi destaque na categoria “Instituição Catalisadora da Semana Global do Empreendedorismo”, iniciativa que mobiliza fundadores, investidores, formuladores de políticas e líderes de ecossistemas de 200 países.
O reconhecimento ao Sebrae reforça o papel estratégico da instituição no suporte a micro e pequenas empresas em todo o país, na construção de ecossistemas de inovação e na consolidação do Brasil como referência global em empreendedorismo.

O movimento começou em 2008 com o objetivo de inspirar jovens a deixar sua marca no mundo empreendedor. Atualmente, a Semana reúne empresários, investidores, formuladores de políticas, pesquisadores, organizações de apoio e outros que colaboram para promover o crescimento econômico e a inovação por meio do empreendedorismo.A SGE já impactou mais 10 milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo, conta com 20 mil parceiros, mais de 40 mil atividades e envolve a participação de 200 países, que ofertam ações simultâneas para inspirar e apoiar empreendedores. Brazil has about 23 million small businesses, and the state of Minas Gerais has more than 2.4 million, including individual microentrepreneurs, microenterprises, and small businesses, according to data from the Federal Revenue Service. Leading Role Recognized in the World
In the 2024 edition, Sebrae stood out internationally by being recognized by GEN Global (Global Entrepreneurship Network), organizer of the movement, as the institution with the largest number of activities in the world during Global Entrepreneurship Week. There were 7,232 activities registered throughout the country, 5,291 of which were initiatives promoted by Sebrae Minas.
