Business Plan Competition for young aspiring entrepreneurs

The national competition, now in its 6th year, is open to South Africans between the age of 18 and 35 that aspire to start a business, but have not started operating yet. The competition provides fantastic exposure to entrants, and acts as a springboard to succeed in their entrepreneurial journey. The platforms also provide entrants with the opportunity to win mentorship vouchers with Business Partners Limited, a R20 000 cash prize and much more. Young people enter the free-to-enter competition by submitting their business idea on an entry form and based on this they are then invited to attend one of twelve regional business workshops on the intricacies of compiling a business plan and managing the many functions of running a business. Following this workshop each entrant will be invited to submit a business plan to the competition judging panel, and eight regional winners will be selected to compete for the national title. Regional winners will receive media exposure, and also win Mentorship Programme support. The national awards event takes place during Global Entrepreneurship Week
