We are pleased to announce the signing of a Strategic Partnership Agreement between Accelerate Africa and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Cameroon, held on the sidelines of the ASC27 Cameroon Pitch Competition & Roadshow in Yaoundé.
This partnership brings together two organisations committed to strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems, supporting ambitious founders, and creating stronger connections between entrepreneurs, investors, institutions and ecosystem partners across Africa.
Through this collaboration, Accelerate Africa and GEN Cameroon will jointly develop and support initiatives, programmes and activities aimed at:
Supporting startups, entrepreneurs and high-potential businesses
Promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and enterprise development
Strengthening entrepreneurial capacity and business development
Connecting entrepreneurs to networks, markets, opportunities and strategic partnerships
Enhancing investment readiness and access to investment opportunities
Strengthening connections between the Cameroonian entrepreneurial ecosystem and other African ecosystems
Developing collaborative initiatives that contribute to sustainable business growth, job creation and economic development
The partnership reflects a shared vision of building stronger, more connected and more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems, while creating meaningful pathways for African businesses to access the resources, networks and opportunities they need to grow and scale.
The signing took place in the context of the ASC27 Cameroon Pitch Competition, further highlighting our shared commitment to identifying, supporting and connecting the next generation of African entrepreneurs and innovators.
Gilbert Ewehmeh, CEO and Continental Coordinator of Accelerate Africa, signed on behalf of Accelerate Africa, while Fabrice Fernand Fangwa, Managing Director of GEN Cameroon, signed on behalf of the Global Entrepreneurship Network Cameroon.
This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration, with a shared ambition to contribute to the growth of entrepreneurship in Cameroon and to strengthen its connections with the wider African entrepreneurial ecosystem.
