As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), the Entrepreneurship Caravan has launched an inspiring tour across secondary schools in Cameroon, carrying a powerful message: entrepreneurial mindsets can—and must—be nurtured from the earliest stages of education.

From bustling urban centers to schools in more remote regions, the Caravan has been meeting thousands of students, opening their eyes to the possibilities of innovation, creativity, and self-employment. Through engaging workshops, interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and testimonials from young entrepreneurs, the initiative aims to demystify entrepreneurship and position it as a realistic and attainable career path.

More than a simple awareness campaign, the Caravan is a transformative movement. It encourages students to identify local problems, imagine solutions, and understand the foundational skills needed to bring ideas to life—leadership, teamwork, financial literacy, resilience, and adaptability. Teachers and school administrators have widely welcomed the initiative, recognizing its value in preparing learners for a changing economic landscape.

By introducing entrepreneurship at the high-school level, the program seeks to build a generation capable not only of seeking jobs but also creating them. The long-term goal is clear: strengthen Cameroon’s entrepreneurial culture, empower youth to be proactive, and ultimately contribute to the country’s economic growth.

The GEW Entrepreneurship Caravan is not just inspiring students—it is planting seeds of innovation that will shape the nation’s future.
