This year's China station of the Entrepreneurship Week is supported by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Shanghai Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau. The Yangpu District People's Government serves as the special supporting unit. The event is hosted by the Shanghai College Students' Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation and organized by Shanghai Yangpu Riverside Investment Development (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Entrepreneurship Relay Technology Finance Group Co., Ltd.

Since 2007, the China station of Global Entrepreneurship Week has evolved into a vital international platform for drawing on global intellectual resources, sharing innovative entrepreneurial concepts, and gathering future insights.

At the opening ceremony of the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Week China, Chu Junhao, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, delivered a keynote speech "Technological Innovation and Future Industrial Opportunities." He argued that the convergence of science and technology drives the fundamental characteristics of the AI era: multidisciplinary support, multi-domain applications, and multi-directional expansion.By tracing the historical lineage of science and projecting technological evolution pathways, he outlined a comprehensive panorama of new productive forces spanning "future energy, future manufacturing, future materials, future health, future space, and future information"—a vision that aligns perfectly with the conference's five major industrial directions.

Mi Lei, Founding Partner of Zhongke Chuangxing and proponent of the "hard tech" concept, delivered a keynote speech "Invest Early, Invest Small, Invest Long-Term in Hard Tech: Co-Building a Hard Tech Startup Ecosystem Rainforest." He emphasized that hard tech and tech finance are the "two wings" indispensable to building a science and technology powerhouse. As the new wave of technological revolution advances into ultra-complex, ultra-microscopic, ultra-macroscopic, and ultra-extreme domains, humanity is pushing into the frontiers of science and technology with unprecedented precision and depth. At this critical juncture, major global nations are intensifying R&D investments to seize future technological high ground. Against this backdrop, China must urgently establish a "Zhengguoqu Canal"-like system for technology finance.Concluding his speech, he shared Zhongke Chuangxing's practices and experiences in deep incubation and pre-incubation, expressing the aspiration to become the preferred partner for more technology entrepreneurs.

Paul Andrez, Honorary President of the European Business Angels Network (EBAN), defined entrepreneurs who integrate human creativity with AI technology as "AI entrepreneurs" in his keynote speech, "The Rise of AI Entrepreneurs: Declining Innovation Risks and Unlocking the path to Growth." He analyzed why AI entrepreneurs are better positioned to reduce startup risks and increase success probabilities from multiple dimensions including market, technology, talent, and execution.

This year's event prioritizes supporting the "first mile" of technology commercialization, empowering early-stage tech startups with patient capital. At the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Week China opening ceremony, the Entrepreneurship Foundation debuted presentations by two outstanding "angel fund"-backed enterprises: "Chu Ying Enterprise" and "Proof-of-Concept Project." The former is Final Sequence (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., founded by graduates of the inaugural "Ocean Gathering Talents" entrepreneurship training camp hosted by the Entrepreneurship Foundation in 2023. The latter is Shanghai Anything Robotics Co., Ltd., originating from Shanghai Innovation Academy. This initiative provided a platform for "Angel Fund"-backed enterprises to share their experiences firsthand. It also coordinated with subsequent events like the "Saturday Early-Stage Dive" angel-funded investment roadshow and the GCC Annual Entrepreneurship Classroom, focusing on proof-of-concept and university technology transfer projects. The goal is to identify and assist young university entrepreneurs in transforming early-stage technological achievements from "prototypes" into "commercialized products," offering "Angel Fund" public welfare services that bridge the gap from "zero to one."

Additionally, the organizing Entrepreneurship Foundation annually announces the 2025 "Angel Fund" Outstanding Young Eagle Enterprises. Eight Angel Fund-supported companies, including Shanghai Suanmo Suanyang Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Dileiman Kang Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., received this honorary title. This signifies that these enterprises have gained initial market recognition and stand at the starting line of rapid development.

As a representative of outstanding eaglet enterprises and a person with hearing loss, Shi Chengchuan, founder of Shanghai Yinshu Technology Co., Ltd., shared his entrepreneurial journey. His communication tool for the hearing impaired, leveraging AI technologies like speech recognition and deep learning-based noise reduction, has been widely adopted in conference and educational settings, embodying his entrepreneurial philosophy.
