Founder Champion Award Criteria
The Compass Award for Founder Champion is given to the highest performing or most promising founder active in the GEN community.
The following factors are considered in the selection of the award winner (in no particular order):
- Promising: Promising founder most likely to succeed as an entrepreneur in the long run.
- Performance: Founder who achieved the highest amount of growth since joining GEN based on reported GEN, EWC platform data or other program data reporting platforms.
- Unsung heroes: Founder who has been least recognized for outstanding performance.
- GEN program engagement: Active and impactful participant in various GEN programs, including but not limited to: the Entrepreneurship World Cup, Global Entrepreneurship Week, Startup Huddle, and especially the GEN Starters Club.
- Resilience: Demonstrated resilience and/or performed admirably in the face of adversity – adapting to overcome challenges.
- Brand Champion: Positive stewardship of the GEN brand
