Global Entrepreneurship Week Champion Award Criteria

 

The Compass Award for Global Entrepreneurship Week Champion is given to the host organization that ran the best overall campaign–demonstrating national scale, involvement of a diverse collection of ecosystem leaders, creative ways to reach new audiences and impact in terms of fueling public involvement in partner programs and other opportunities within the current ecosystem. 

Factors considered in the selection of the winner of this award include (in no particular order): 

  • Scale of the campaign (e.g. geographic reach engaging communities throughout the country, number of partners, number of activities)
  • Creativity and innovation of the campaign
  • Engagement of influential brands and VIPs
  • Level of visibility and awareness
  • Demonstrated positive impact for partners and on participants
  • Engaging non-traditional audiences and under-represented communities
  • Campaign presence on the official Global Entrepreneurship Week website, adherence to global guidelines and communication with the global campaign management
  • Positive stewardship of the GEN brand
