Investor Champion Award Criteria
The Compass Award for Investor Champion recognizes angel investors, venture capitalists and other members of the GEN Invest community or the Global Business Angels Network, who have made significant contributions to advancing the interests of investors and the startups they enable.
The following factors are considered in the selection of the award winner (in no particular order):
- Success in building, guiding or managing an angel network, investor association, or venture fund to advance cross-border investing or strengthen national/regional investor capacity
- Engagement with GEN’s founders through initiatives such as the GEN Starters Club, Entrepreneurship World Cup, Global Entrepreneurship Week, Startup Huddle or other GEN programs that connect directly with entrepreneurs
- Contributions to the growth and development of the GEN Invest community or the Global Business Angels Network
