One Global Ecosystem

 

The Compass Award for One Global Ecosystem is given to the individual, organization or community that has had the largest impact in reaching across national borders and connecting a broad array of stakeholders who help entrepreneurs start and scale new companies around the world.

Factors considered in the selection of the winner of this award include (in no particular order):

  • Success in convening large-scale gatherings (live or virtual) or communities that engage a broad cross-section of ecosystem stakeholders from economies of all sizes
  • Facilitating collaboration among diverse types of ecosystem leaders
  • Engaging non-traditional audiences, under-represented communities and opening paths to a diverse array of geographies and demographics
  • Reflects the GEN brand in a positive way–implementing impactful programs and initiatives within the compass family to represent the intersection of ideas, cultures and information and symbolizing its inclusive international reach.
     

Candidates for this award are nominated by GEN HQ staff.
