Research Champion Award Criteria
The Compass Award for Research Champion recognizes a GEN Research community member whose actionable research has had the most significant impact on policy development, entrepreneurial support programs, or ecosystem development.
The following factors are considered in the selection of the award winner (in no particular order):
- Breakthrough research in entrepreneurship
- Translation of research into actionable recommendations with demonstrable uptake from policymakers or practitioners
- Proactive engagement in the Global Entrepreneurship Research Network
- Entry of research-backed case studies to the GEN Atlas, a research and policy portal to track effective approaches around the world to advance entrepreneurship
