Eastern District Entrepreneur Expo
In collaboration with the Youth Development Division, the Dominica Youth Business Trust celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week by hosting the Eastern District Entrepreneurs Expo. Held at the Castle Bruce Youth Center, the event showcased local businesses from Antrizzle to Petite Soufriere, including the Kalinago Territory.
Entrepreneurs presented a diverse range of products, from Rum Punches to Woodwork and Cassava Bread. The Expo provided a valuable platform for economic growth in the Eastern District. Students from Castle Bruce Primary School attended, gaining insights into local businesses and fostering community connections. This initiative aimed to inspire the next generation of Eastern District entrepreneurs and promote the entrepreneurial spirit in Dominica's rural landscape.
