Matrouh Entrepreneurship Day

Matrouh Entrepreneurship Day | Marsa Matruh | GEW 2026 | NextWorld

Matrouh Entrepreneurship Day — brings together small businesses, independent entrepreneurs, young people and aspiring founders for an afternoon of local business visibility, entrepreneurship learning and community connection.

The day combines two complementary activities designed for different stages of the entrepreneurial journey.

1:00 PM–3:00 PM | Made in Matrouh

Made in Matrouh is a community showcase bringing together local small businesses, independent sellers, makers, freelancers and side-hustlers.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their products or services, meet potential customers, connect with other business owners and share experiences.

The activity celebrates businesses at different stages — from people just starting out to more established local entrepreneurs — while making entrepreneurship more visible within the wider community.

3:30 PM–5:30 PM | Start Here

Start Here is designed for young people and aspiring entrepreneurs who are curious about entrepreneurship but may not yet have a business idea.

Through local examples and practical exercises, participants will learn how entrepreneurs observe problems, identify unmet needs and explore whether those needs could become viable opportunities.

Participants should leave with a clearer understanding of entrepreneurship and a simple framework they can use to identify and explore their first business opportunity.

Networking and closing will connect participants across both activities and strengthen relationships between emerging entrepreneurs and existing local businesses.
