On November 18, 2024, a Business Development Services (BDS) training session was conducted at Hawassa Tegbareid Polytechnic College, engaging 32 participants, most of whom were from startup enterprises. The training aimed to strengthen their capacities and impart essential skills for effective business operations.

Key focus areas included financial management practices, budgeting, bookkeeping, business formalization, and the importance of sound financial practices for small businesses. Participants explored tools and strategies to enhance their business efficiency while gaining practical insights into managing financial resources effectively.

The training employed an adult learning methodology, encouraging participants to draw from their experiences. Interactive techniques such as case studies, group work, self-reflection, and plenary discussions created a dynamic and participatory learning environment. This approach fostered practical skill-building and collaborative problem-solving among the attendees.
