A Business Development Services (BDS) training session was held in Hawassa, Addis Ketema Subcity

On November 23, 2024, a Business Development Services (BDS) training session was held in Hawassa, Addis Ketema Subcity, engaging 29 participants (14 male and 15 female). Before the session began, the workshop area was cleaned and set up for an interactive training environment. The Subcity leader inaugurated the event, expressing support for empowering local entrepreneurs.

The training began with introductions, instructions on filling attendance sheets and personal profiles, and the distribution of training materials. The session started with an overview of the Ethiopian Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) and its mission. Participants demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm and engagement, particularly the youth and women in attendance, who actively participated in all activities.

The training focused on key areas such as financial management, business formalization, and developing skills to effectively manage and grow businesses. Participants appreciated the practical insights, which not only enhanced their entrepreneurial skills but also inspired them to explore new business ideas. The session concluded with a motivational speech by the Subcity leader, leaving participants empowered and optimistic about their entrepreneurial journeys.
