The business idea competition organized by Wollo University in collaboration with EDI-Ethiopia concluded today

The one-month-long business idea competition organized by Wollo University in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI)-Ethiopia concluded successfully on November 23, 2024, with the recognition of the top three winners. The competition saw a diverse range of innovative business ideas submitted from various sectors and campuses of the university.

Out of numerous submissions, 11 business ideas were shortlisted for further pitching and a rigorous screening process. Ultimately, the top three ideas were selected by a panel of juries composed of EDI trainers and advisors, Wollo University technology instructors, and professionals from other educational and practical backgrounds.

The event was hailed as a highly successful and motivational program for the participants and future aspirants. The top three finalists received their awards from the university, along with certificates of recognition provided by EDI. This initiative is expected to inspire students to engage more in entrepreneurial endeavors and foster innovative thinking in the years to come.
